Terms and Conditions
1. Scope of Services
a. The scope of services provided by End of Tenancy Cleaning Cambridge ("the Company") shall be as mutually agreed upon between the Company and the client. This may include, but is not limited to, end-of-tenancy cleaning, window cleaning, oven cleaning, and carpet cleaning.
b. End of Tenancy Cleaning Cambridge operates as Property Solutions Cambridge LTD and third-party subcontractors may or may not be used to complete service.
2. Agreement to Terms
a. By engaging the services of the Company, clients agree to abide by these terms and conditions in their entirety. b. Any deviations from these terms must be agreed upon in writing by both parties.
3. Quality of Service
a. The Company is committed to delivering high-quality cleaning services to its clients. b. Clients are encouraged to communicate any concerns or issues regarding the quality of service provided promptly.
4. Dispute Resolution
a. In the event of any disputes regarding the quality of service provided, clients are entitled to utilize the Company's free callback service within 14 days from the completion of services.
b. Should a dispute arise, clients must contact the Company within the specified time frame to initiate the resolution process.
c. Failure to raise a dispute within the specified time frame will result in the acceptance of the completed services.
d. In cases where a third party is allowed to complete the service or rectify any issues, refunds will not be granted.
e. Clients must conduct themselves in a respectful and professional manner towards the Company's staff at all times. Any instances of verbal or physical abuse will result in the termination of services and forfeiture of any refund entitlement.
5. Refunds
a. Refunds will only be issued in cases where the Company fails to deliver services as agreed upon in the contract, and the client has utilized the Company's callback service notifying the company within 14 days from the completion of services. All callbacks must be completed within the 14-day timeframe; however, we do not limit the number of callbacks any specific client can have in that period.
b. Clients requesting refunds must provide sufficient evidence to support their claim.
c. Refund requests made beyond a reasonable timeframe from the completion of services may not be considered valid.
6. Client Responsibilities
a. Clients are responsible for providing complete and accurate information regarding their cleaning requirements and any specific areas of concern before cleaning commences.
b. Clients must ensure adequate access to the property and communicate any special instructions or requirements to the Company before cleaning commences.
c. Clients are obligated to notify the Company of any neglectful conditions, extreme mess, heavy soiling, biohazards including infestation, pests, wild animals, or any issues present in the property that would adversely affect the cleaners' ability to clean. This includes areas populated with personal items, low light conditions, absence of running hot water, absence of working electricity, areas that are only accessible with the use of special equipment, or the presence of any third-party personnel not working for the Company prior to the commencement of any services.
d. Staff may, under certain circumstances, move smaller items under 25 Kg to aid cleaning however this remains the responsibility of the customer. We do not move large and/or heavy items above 25 Kg requiring 2 or more people to lift or items requiring the use of supports/lifting aids and it is the customers responsibility to move both small and large items before the cleaning team arrive. In addition regarding carpet cleaning small and large items with less than 4 inches clearance from the floor may not be moved or cleaned under as the areas underneath do not dry sufficiently and can cause damage to floors and walls can result from moving.
e. Clients must treat the Company's staff with respect and refrain from any abusive conduct or behavior. Failure to do so will result in the discontinuation of service and any guarantee will be at the discretion of End of Tenancy Cleaning Cambridge.
7. Personal Items and Liability for Damage
a. Clients are responsible for securing their belongings and valuables prior to the commencement of cleaning services. All personal items must be removed before the cleaning team arrives. Personal items include, but are not limited to, valuables, electronics, toiletries, cleaning chemicals or liquids that can cause damage, and any other personal belongings. The Company is not responsible for moving personal items or for damage and/or loss incurred as a result of moving items. Failure to remove personal items may result in the area not being cleaned or invalidating your guarantee.
b. The Company takes the utmost care while performing cleaning services. However, the Company is not liable for any damage to personal items that were not removed from the areas to be cleaned. The Company is not responsible for any pre-existing damage to property or belongings. Any damage caused by the Client's failure to remove personal items will not be the responsibility of the Company.
c. The Company shall not be liable for any damages or losses incurred due to factors beyond its control, including but not limited to changes in property condition post-service, inadequate conditions, invasive pests, or the presence of wild animals, or failure to adhere to any post-cleaning care instructions.
8. Compliance with Laws
a. The Company operates in compliance with all relevant UK laws and regulations governing cleaning services, including but not limited to health and safety standards and employment laws.
b. Clients are expected to adhere to all applicable laws and regulations in relation to their engagement with the Company.
9. Amendments to Terms
a. The Company reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time, with or without prior notice to clients.
b. Clients will be notified of any amendments to these terms, and continued engagement with the Company's services constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
10. Governing Law
a. These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
b. By engaging the services of End of Tenancy Cleaning Cambridge Limited, clients acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to abide by these terms and conditions in their entirety.
10. Legal notice
